Finding a match: which videographer is the right one for you?
Choices: they don’t come easy. Today’s videography offers so many options, so many different styles. We are here to help you make this selection; we understand that people make decisions for different reasons. We want to make sure you are comfortable with us before making any commitments. We don’t use “pressure selling” techniques, we simply invite you to our studio to view some of our work and discuss the wedding style you have in mind. The appointment is NOT an obligation by any means. This is the time we meet with you and show what we can do. We prefer to meet with you in person to get a feel of what you really WANT. The people you hire to film your wedding will have a tremendous effect on your wedding day. No matter who you hire, make sure you are absolutely in love with their style. Later, you will be in love with your wedding video.

Wedding day: how we work
Our goal is to be invisible. We understand some of the restrictions imposed by certain ceremony venues; and work with other wedding professionals to ensure we have complete coverage. In general, we are very sensitive of the surroundings, and want to make sure that you and your guests feel comfortable.

How long before the video is finished?
Typically, the video takes between 2-4 weeks to complete, depending on the season. We spend around 30 hours meticulously editing every little detail, making sure your day is perfect on tape! All we can say is that it will definitely be worth your wait!

Why the right music is so important?
It is simple: music sets the tone for the entire wedding. It can tell so much about the couple! The right music reflects your personalities, and that’s what makes our videos so special: we spend many hours selecting just the right songs, working and re-working them to make sure they fit just right! If you, as a couple, have special songs you would like to use in your wedding, you are welcome to bring us a CD or let us know the name of the song or the artist, and we will find it!

Preserving your memories: VHS or DVD?
We vote DVD! Why? Because DVD is the next generation of video storage, with the capacity for high quality sound and video, DVD has left video tapes in a dust as the new industry standard in quality video storage! DVD has capacity to store 8-10 times more data than CD, and it is the first format that will truly last a lifetime. Have you ever seen a movie on an old VHS tape? We did! And it is not pretty! Order your memories on DVD and never worry about quality again!

Booking: how far in advance?
We suggest the moment you decide you are ready to make a commitment. Popular dates fill up quickly, and the best wedding professionals may be hard to get. In general, brides book 6 to 8 months in advance. Most likely, you will have to make a non-refundable deposit to reserve your date.

What is High Definition Video?

The original impetus for HDTV came from wide-screen movies. Soon after wide-screen was introduced, movie producers discovered that individuals seated in the first few rows enjoyed a level of participation in the action not possible with conventional movies. Evidently, having the screen occupy a greater field of view (especially peripherally) significantly increases the sense of "being there".

In Camcorders, this has translated to the 16:9 format & Cameras with unprecedented resolution: 1080i lines to be exact. We now offer this capability to you. What does this mean?
First, Do NOT confuse widescreen 16:9 format with HDV. Current DV and DVCam camcorders are capable of 16:9 Widescreen - but ARE NOT HDV. Their resolution is far below that of HDV. In fact, compared to the most commonly used cameras in the Wedding and Event Industry today, the Sony PD-170, Canon XL2, and Panasonic DVX-100A, HDV Camcorders have 4 times the resolution of these current stars of the Event world. HDV Cameras film native 16:9 widescreen in outstanding resolution.

Why go High Definition?
(or "How I Future-Proofed my Wedding Video")

Walk into a Best Buy or Circuit City. Virtually every new TV is in HD and in the wider 16:9 shape (rectangle, not a square, like a movie theatre). This will almost certainly be the next type of TV you buy. Have you ever seen an HD broadcast on an HD TV? Incredible. Like looking through a window. Now imagine you have a Wedding DVD in standard format. Not only will it not be able to take advantage of the higher resolution TV you just bought, and since that TV is likely larger you will notice your current DVD lacks a certain luster. Since that new TV is widescreen, your current DVD will play on a square in the middle of the screen. The widescreen format is just plain superior visually. It is why movies are shown that way. The higher resolution is just stunning.
